Ajmer district administration have initiated a dual-purpose campaign for the holistic and coherent development of the society. The campaign revolves around planting trees on the birth of a girl child. In a bid to correlate both the positive movements, the Ajmer district has made this diligent move, to render a healthy society.

On Saturday, district collector Gaurav Goyal held a meeting with the officials of various departments on a plethora of issues. Goyal sent out at a message that families should be equally considerate towards their children and the trees. He urged the officials to encourage this programme under Deendayal Upadhyaya Jan Kalyan Panchayat Shivirs.

Planting a tree at the time of the birth of a girl child gained a remarkable consensus from all officials. The officials in the meeting also demonstrated deep concern over the complaints on the ‘Sampark portal’ of chief minister. The officials were asked to mitigate the problems and resolve the complaints in a time-bound fashion.

The administration also granted due permission to construct grain storage system. This grain storage could be used by farmers to keep their grains. The proposal was presented in the budget of the state.

Officials of electricity department were directed to fix electric wires hanging around roads.

The administration informed the PHED (Rajasthan Public Health Engineering Department) officials that the distribution network will be managed to ensure proper and adequate supply of drinking water in the district. They also added that water transport will be ceased for the next summer.  The officials have been told to prepare a plan for daily drinking water supply.

Rajasthan is weaving another success story with these game-changer movements. With so many developments happening in the State on a daily basis, optimism among the masses and myriad of hopes are contemplated around the territory of the State.
