The fourth iteration of Ajmer Literature Festival 2017 has already started in Ajmer and will go on until 24th December. The inauguration was done by Padma Bhushan Gopaldas Neeraj in Mukund Garden. It’s an annual affair that attracts intellectuals and literature lovers in large numbers every year. The event includes various programs like live sessions, ALF Feature Art and Photo Gallery, Book Exhibition, Handicraft exhibition, classical dance, etc.
The aim of organizing this fest is to promote art, literature, and culture of India and build a civilized and cultured society. It also brings along collaboration between the different sections of society including writers, journalists, thinkers, and art aficionados.

The event is attended by eminent speakers including social workers, politicians, artists, writers, novelists, and other personalities. There are discussions on engaging topics and other activities like poetry recitation, story recitation, and what not. There are also sections for food zones, library, and interactive session for the audience, and short documentaries are also featured.
This year the program is focusing on a wide array of topics right from social media to current trends, and from poetry to ghazals and even mythological characters portrayal in the poetries. The event will be concluded on 24th December in the presence of Actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha, Journalist Ishamadhu Talwar and writer Pradeep Saurabh.
