Ahead of PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Jhunjhunu on March 8, Rajasthan Police has tightened the security in and around the city. Reportedly, at least 6 SPs, 23 Additional SPs, 57 DSPs, along with more than 100 inspectors and 4,000 policemen of various units of the police department would be deployed to maintain law and order in Jhujhunu.

Apart from security, the parking arrangements have also been made a little away from the main venue for the people who will be attending the rally. As far as the helicopters are concerned, a total of 5 helipads have been prepared for the landing of helicopters of the dignitaries. Moving on, directions have been given to the concerned authorities for ensuring smooth traffic and basic facilities of water, power, and medical help.

The main objective behind PM Modi’ Jhunjhunu visit is the pan-India expansion of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ Campaign, which is currently operational in 161 districts of the state. At the event, the District Collectors and Zila Pramukhs of 10 districts working for the program will be honored by PM Modi. Moreover, the event will also witness the launch of National Nutrition Mission program.

Reports suggest that a child from Udhampur district of Jammu & Kashmir is going to be honored at the event. The child had sent a photograph of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao flag at 4,000 feet high which has been selected to be awarded as the winner of the photo contest.

As per some reports, renowned business tycoon, Ratan is also likely to attend the event. Ratan Tata has contributed an amount worth INR 20 Crores and has adopted Anganwadi centers in the state for their betterment.
